We are seeking an experienced Bogger Operator to join our underground mining team at the Snowy River Gold Mine. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused operator who thrives in a fast-paced underground environment and is committed to achieving production targets while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) equipment to support underground development and production activities.

As our Bogger Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Operate underground boggers/LHDs safely and efficiently.
  • Load and haul ore and waste material from underground headings.
  • Maintain production schedules and achieve daily targets.
  • Conduct pre-start inspections and complete equipment reports.
  • Identify and report hazards, incidents, and equipment defects.
  • Assist with ventilation, road maintenance, and general underground tasks as required.
  • Follow all site safety procedures, policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with miners, truck operators, service crews, and supervisors.

About You:

  • Previous experience operating underground boggers/LHDs in a hard rock mining environment.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Ability to work rotating rosters, including night shifts.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
